The knowledge is essential. A computer could breakdown if we don’t do proper maintenance. We may want to upgrade to a higher standard at low costs rather than by a new computer.

Let us explore the computer in a step by step process. I have always wondered how the computer was invented but it can be very frustrating surfing over the internet as we may not find what we are looking for.

It happens to me all the time. I start searching for something in GOOGLE and finally end up somewhere else. The end result is that I sometimes don’t achieve what I was really looking for.

So Where Do We Start? I would like to cover many topics but it will take some time. May be we should start somewhere and keep adding as we go along

Well, in simple words, it is a machine. A computer is a made up of

• a Keyboard for typing and commands
• a Mouse for navigating
• a Hard Drive for storage of software and personal files
• various Software installed for working
• a Monitor for visualizing

According to you when do you think that the computer was actually invented. I actually thought that the invention was around the early 20^th century, but the history describes it differently. It actually dates back to the prehistoric period when the Lebombo and the Ishango bone were used for calculations and predicting calendar days.
